Is AI-assisted writing still original?
Lots of people got angry when discussing this:

That's a good question, and yes it still does.
Think about it like this: when you use a spell-checker or even a grammar checker, do you suddenly worry that your essay isn't "yours" anymore?
Of course not.
AI writing tools are, at their core, just that - tools.
They're extensions, really, of what you're trying to accomplish.
Sure, some are more sophisticated than others, but no matter how fancy the hammer, it's still the carpenter who builds the house.
The originality, ultimately, comes from you, the person using the tool, and what you choose to do with it.
